Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague for his question. The whole process was 100% democratic. This measure, which we managed to put in the Conservative Party of Canada's platform, came from an association in Quebec. Moving forward with this is now one of our party's national objectives. I would like to thank the Bloc Québécois and the NDP for supporting my bill because they had similar bills themselves. I think this is very much the right time to go ahead with this.
