Madam Speaker, Canadians deserve to feel safe and to be safe. That is why we introduced Bill C-48, a targeted reform to update our bail laws, designed to focus on violent, repeat offenders, gun and knife violence, as well as intimate partner violence. If I may, I will repeat what I said earlier. This is from the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.
