Mr. Speaker, every bill has pros and cons. We agreed in principle, but not one amendment was adopted. If there is no possibility of improving the bill, we do not see the point in passing it. The thing that I am worried about, and I want my colleague's opinion on this, is the clauses in the bill that would allow the Governor in Council to make changes to the lines marking offshore and provincial boundaries and to certain definitions. What does that mean for transparency and democracy?
